Jurny Cleaning Verification with Clyn

To verify cleaning for properties you run in Jurny, connect Clyn from Clyn > Integrations, find Jurny, click Connect, approve access, then add a checklist and reference photos for each property. From then on, your cleaner takes photos in the Clyn app after each turnover, and Clyn's AI checks them against your standard and sends you a pass or a fix list before check in.

Jurny describes itself as an AI native operating system for short term rental operators. 1. Sign in to Clyn and open Integrations.
2. Find Jurny in the list of property management systems.
3. Click Connect. You will be sent to Jurny to authorize the connection.
4. Approve access. This allows Clyn to work with your Jurny properties.
5. Add a checklist for each property, room by room, in the order your cleaners work.
6. Upload reference photos that show how each room should look when it is guest ready.
7. Get your cleaners set up in the Clyn app so they can take and submit photos after each turnover.

Setting a standard that works across many units

When you manage dozens of units, the setup is where you win or lose time.

Group similar units

If you have several near identical units in one building, build one strong checklist and reference photo set, then adjust per unit for layout differences. Keep unique items, like a hot tub or a balcony, as their own checklist sections.

Make every item checkable

The AI compares photos to your standard, so each item should be something you can see. "Bathroom clean" is hard to judge. "Sink and counter dry, no hair on floor, toilet lid down, two hand towels folded" is easy to judge.

Shoot reference photos the way cleaners will

Use the same angles and similar light your cleaners will have. Doorway shots show the whole room; close ups catch the details guests notice first: bed, shower, toilet, kitchen sink, counters and inside the fridge.

What happens at each turnover

1. The cleaner completes the job Jurny assigned.
2. They open the property in the Clyn app and take the required photos.
3. Clyn's AI checks every photo against your reference standard. Blurry or dark photos are sent back for a retake immediately.
4. You get a pass, or a fix list of what was missed.
5. The cleaner fixes it on the spot, before the next guest arrives.
6. The photos are stored with the date as a record of condition.

Using the results to manage cleaners

A fix list is most useful as a pattern, not a one off. After a few weeks, look for:

• The same miss across many units: your checklist or reference photo is probably unclear. Fix the standard.

• Passes that later draw a complaint: add that area to the checklist and reference photos so it gets checked next time.

Keep it fair. A photo record protects cleaners as much as it protects you, because it shows the unit was ready when they left.

When a guest still complains

Even with checks, a guest may report a problem. The dated photos from the turnover let you see what the unit looked like right before they arrived, which helps you respond calmly and decide whether it was a miss or something that happened during the stay.
